Why silicone-free? Standard silicone pads release D3-D20 cyclic siloxanes during thermal cycling. These volatiles contaminate optical connectors, relay contacts, and sensor surfaces -- causing field failures that are hard to trace. Kleber's S-series silicone-free pads contain zero silicone polymer, verified by GC-MS.

After thermal cycling, standard silicone pads release D3-D20 cyclic siloxanes. In optical transceivers, relay contacts, or sensor housings, this creates field failures that are nearly impossible to trace back to the TIM. Your customer blames your board, not the pad.
